Richard L Higginson married his sweetheart, Kara Ann Christensen in August of 1987.
Kara is the immediate past president of the Bountiful Junior High PTSA. She is also the president-elect of the Meadowbrook PTSA. She volunteers extensively at the schools helping the professional educators and insuring that our children and yours receive the best education possible. THIS is how Education SHOULD work! We have been blessed with 6 beautiful and talented children.

Richard K. is 19 years old and is currently serving in the Washington, Kennewick mission. Richard received his Eagle Scout award and also his Duty To God award. He ran cross-country for Bountiful High School and was very involved in the Orchestra and Select Choirs.
Nathan is 17 years old and attends Bountiful High. He was a member of last year's State Championship Soccer Team and looks forward to spring for another run at a championship.
He is also an Eagle Scout. He also participates in Bountiful's select Choirs.
Sarah is 15 years old and also attends Bountiful High. She is an accomplished Ballerina and performed last year in MountainWest Ballet's Nutcracker. She is also an avid reader. She received the Department of Foreign Language award for Excellence at Bountiful Junior High...also last year.
David is 13 years old and attends Bountiful Junior High. He plays premier-league soccer and loves soccer and basketball. David also loves to read.
Matthew is 11 years old and attends Meadowbrook Elementary School. He plays State league socccer and loves it.
Kristina is 9 years old and also attends Meadowbrook. Kristina has a love of life. She plays soccer and has also danced. She can't wait to play Junior Jazz basketball this year.
